Chateau Phelan Segur – Vertical tasting

Nice upcoming Chateau in Saint-Estèphe. In Bordeaux, the difference between good vintages and lesser vintages is quite big… So in this tasting with no surprise, the 2009 vintage was magic, with very good 2018, 2016 and 2005 vintages

Very ripe nose, bacon fat, roasted meat.. Very nice ripe tannin, very nice ripe black fruit, sandalwood, very delicious!! (94 points)

Hint of vanilla, ripe black fruit nose… Loads of nice tannin, huge concentration, will need 3-5 years to develop. (93 points)
